If you are looking for a non-chain, small town, South Georgia experience, you MUST try Phillip's Seafood! A small, but extremely popular, eat in or takeout restaurant. Its the best place for fresh seafood. You can get it fresh/raw or cooked to order. The selection is what's available from the daily catch, but includes tilapia, whiting, catfish, grouper, snapper, shrimp, crab, alligator, etc. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely worth your while to stop in and try.
Priced just right....definitely worth every dollar...clean and although it's a business that sells fish-I love the fact that it doesn't smell like fish. I ALWAYS get the fish..grits I have also eaten the cold slaw..it's so so good that sometimes im afraid I will get a bone stuck in my throat, because I eat every bite..lol

In town visiting looked these guys up went to the place and ordered 1lb of crabs with okra and hush puppies wifey had catfish filet cole slaw with fries it did not disappoint. Thanks everything was great ...
Wonderful food. Customer service was great food was full of flavor not too much seasoning...I order 12 oysters and received plenty with a full serving of Low County boil. Crab shrimp potatoes and 2 Corns with sausage will definitely be back.

Not the sexy seafood place where it will blow you away, the food is what your parents fry in your kitchen and is seasoned perfectly. The customer service is pleasant, friendly and homely. They are regular people trying to gain your business not this robotic service where your asses are getting kissed. Good food great people!!!!!
